Chili Cook-Off Oct. 23

Chili cook-off this Saturday to benefit the Family & Children's Association. 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Old Country Road and Holly Avenue in Mineola. $10 for adults, kids under 12 free. All the chili you want; and the next day 12 painful hours on the toilet.

Judges will decide the winner of the best chili. I'm assuming my invitation to be a judge got lost in the mail. Hopefully that's cleared up by Saturday.

Note to the Family & Children's Association:  please, please, please use a different picture in the future. It is with great restraint that I don't have the guy saying something obnoxious.
