New York City Chocolate Show Nov. 11 - 14
Featuring two Long Island chocolate companies:
Four days full of dark, milk, white, and bittersweet indulgent confections, The 13th Annual Chocolate Show, taking place Thursday, November 11th through Sunday, November 14th at The Metropolitan Pavilion (125 W 18th Street), will house over 65 fine chocolate companies complete with culinary demos, samples, and Kids' Zone where young chocolate lovers will have the chance to explore the wonderful world of chocolate.
With local Long Island companies Gotta Eat Sweets (Syosset) http://www.gottaeatsweets.com/ and NibMor (Huntington) http://www.nibmor.com/index.php amongst the exhibitors, Long Island natives will be wowed when they taste these chocolate creations and realize they are made right it their backyard.
Popular dessert personalities such as Dylan Lauren, owner of Dylan's Candy Bar, Johnny Iuzzini of Bravo's Top Chef: Just Desserts, and Martin Howard, award winning pastry chef will also be on hand to show off their pastry skills and love of all things chocolate.
Tickets for the 2010 New York Chocolate Show are $28 for adults (13 and older) in advance and $30 at the door. Children are free with a two child per adult limit, $8 per additional child (5 years to 12 years). Now THAT sounds like a fab outing. You did go... are going right? Damn, I wish I'd come back to visit your blog sooner, then I could have hopped a flight, or more likely asked you to pick up some decadent treats and mail them out here. Hahaha.
Wasn't able to make it. Way too busy. I had to turn down a press pass for it :(
